Hill dwarves are closely related to Gold Dwarves, but less focused on yellow precious metals. Instead they focused on agricultural, economic, and other less-dwarven pursuits. Long and short of it, the other dwarves don't like 'em. They figure there's something wrong with a dwarf who wants to live outside with that big open sky above them. But that hasn't stopped hill dwarves from flourishing!
